At the ticket desk the question, asked in different languages, is always the same: what am I looking at? Whoever is at the desk can answer and help someone, but not everyone.
Multilingual audio guides have always existed, but each language often means a set of devices to manage and a desk to staff.
Welcoming international visitors
A set of devices for each language
The staff entered the descriptions of the works for the five rooms in the main language and translated them into the others straight in EarStory, generating the audio guides in a few minutes. A single QR code was placed at the entrance of each room: whoever scans it picks a language and listens on their own phone.
Eight languages live, with no device to manage
No app to download
A new language is added when it is needed, not at the start of the season!
